The 2023 Drinks Community Book Club is now open for applications!
From January 2023, the Drinks Community will be starting its first ever Book Club in partnership with Oxford University Press. Open to all of our Drinks Community members, it will offer you the chance to access industry books, be a part of an exclusive Book Club space within the community platform and network with other club members.
We will be looking to introduce a new book every four months covering wine, beer and spirits, working with authors and publishing houses to provide access to books, and in turn give industry people the chance to educate themselves through these resources.
How it works:
The Book Club will run tri-quarterly (January-April, May-August, September-December) with each book having its own intake of members (i.e. you can sign up for one or two books rather than all of them), and will run as per the below:
· An interview with the author(s) of their book (on a case-by-case basis depending on author availability).
· A four-month reading period.
· Monthly online check-ins with members.
· Ongoing conversations on Community throughout the four-month period.
· Final Book Club meeting on the Drinks Community platform at the end of the reading period.
